Most noise-canceling headphones block all sounds, including important ones for safety and social interaction.

While some offer ANC modes, they require manual app control. HearO uses AI-driven detection and intuitive gesture commands to minimize false positives, allowing users to seamlessly manage essential external alerts.

Natural gesture commends for easier and faster control of the sound content without pulling out a phone or using hands.

HearO can be attached to many surfaces of the headphones.

SAM (Smart Assistant with Mobility)

SAM is an innovative voice assistant bot designed to provide seamless, hands-free assistance throughout your home. Combining Vision, Sound, and Navigation, SAM autonomously follows you, responding to your needs as you move through indoor spaces. With its advanced technology, SAM offers a truly interactive and personalized experience, available whenever and wherever you need it.

User can attach different kit on top of the speaker unit anytime they need something else. Simply lift and take out the previous kit and drop in a new one.

Example of a projector add-on for entertainment purpose.

To extend SAM's capabilities, we introduced a drone add-on for advanced home security. While SAM is highly mobile, it faces limitations in multi-story homes.

To overcome this, we designed a system where SAM can deploy a drone to act as a second eye, monitoring upper levels when suspicious activity is detected on higher floors.

This seamless integration ensures complete security coverage, giving homeowners peace of mind no matter where they are in their home.

IoT MODULE DEMO
APP NOTES WALL

After the ARTIK module showcase at the IoT World conference (Below thread), ARTIK was invited to showcase its IoT capabilities at the Samsung Developer Conference. I got to help them with designing the wall consisting of App Notes (App Note is a guide information on how to use certain capabilities of a technology).

ROLE
Design and create lively booth at Samsung Developer Conference to promote ARTIK capabilities and IoT platform modules

App note is a step by step guidance on how to control IoT services.

Since there are a lot of capable features within Samsung’s ARTIK module and customers are not fully capable of utilizing them right away, ATIK created guidebook for each of the features.

Graphic Plan(GP) on how we wanted to display the app notes.

Every individual hex boxes are installed with LED lights so when a person click on a specific app note on the tablet for more information, that specific hex box will light up.

We wanted to test if this works as it was planned and also wanted to see if it will bring us the attention we intended. So I had to handmade each and every hex boxes (used for the final presentation too) and worked with the engineers to make a proof of concept.

After we finished the proof of concept, we worked with an exhibition vendor to specify the wall and to be created for the Samsung Developer Conference.

INDUSTRIAL IoT DEMO
@IoT WORLD

For the IoT World Conference, the ARTIK platform team aimed to showcase its impact on industrial applications through predictive analytics. A windmill was chosen as a demonstration model, illustrating ARTIK’s ability to monitor performance and anticipate maintenance needs. This project was one of the crafty and hands-on demonstrations I’ve developed, effectively highlighting ARTIK’s real-world potential in industrial IoT.

ROLE
Responsible for design and CMF

Powered by the ARTIK gateway module, Rosetta connects Schneider Electric’s dimmer switches to the cloud, enabling remote light control from anywhere via a mobile app—whether at home or away.

Rosetta was a 3 week quick turn-around reference project. Rosetta CMF consist of being placed in a living room and should be something like a home-good accessory or a prop, not distracting the environment too much yet you see when you need to.

Rosetta can be controlled by voice via 3rd party products such as Alexa, Home, and as well as other wearable products.
